Tournament Series FAQ


Payment:

  • Deposits can be made online after registration or over the phone with MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or American Express
  • Remaining balances may be paid by check or online.
  • Registration fee must be paid in full 30 days prior to tournament.

    Full Refunds will be issued if divisions are not filled.

In the memo section of your check, please indicate, The tournament you are playing in, your team name, and the division.


Hotels/"Stay to Play":

York Ice Hockey Tournament Series events are "Stay to Play" . 

A "local" team is defined as a team who's home ice is within 60 miles driving of the York Ice Arena. 

If your team is not a "local" team, hotel rooms must be booked through the official York Devils Tournament Series Housing Bureau. 

If you have any questions regarding this policy, or wish to discuss an exception, please contact the tournament director at Tournaments@YorkDevils.org

Violation of this policy will result in disqualification from the tournament.


Sanctioning and Rosters

All York Devils Tournament Series events are USA Hockey sanctioned.

All teams must submit an Official USA Hockey T-1 Roster. If a player is not listed on your roster, they may not participate in the tournament. 
Players may only play if their name is on the Official stamped & registrar signed USA Hockey roster submitted.  All players for the tournament must be on ONE (1) USA Hockey roster! If a player is not listed on your roster, they may not participate in the tournament. 

Rosters can be submitted to Rosters@YorkDevils.org– In the subject line of the email please include tournament you are playing in, your team name, and the division.


Zero Tolerance Policy

The York Ice Hockey Club Tournament Series and its Director reserve the right to disqualify a team from tournament due to behavior that is detrimental to the sport of hockey, by Players, Coaches, or Parents.  This tournament is sanctioned by USA Hockey and follows the Zero Tolerance Rule regarding and continue to show respect and positive support for all coaches, officials and players during this tournament.   York Ice Hockey reserves the right to expel and/or disqualify any parent, player or team from the tournament without refund.
